Not often do I find a song that I put on repeat for hours. I have listened to this song all..all....all day. I even attempted to teach myself to play it on the guitar. I just love the girl's voice that sings it..and even better, the first time I heard it was at at a show at Exit/In, when Bon Iver invited her (Sarah Siskind) up to the stage to play it. It's called "Lovin's For Fools." I love the words..they are so simple and so real.
Crazy how I've been livin without you
Inside this house that we built
Seems like the window's finally open
Letting the memories out
Go on and love her - love her forever
I'll never tell her you told me too
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Lovin's for fools, lovin's for fools
Maybe you'll find me roaming the garden
Looking for something pure..
Roots that are growing, deeper and deeper..
Maybe you'll pull them too
Go on and leave here, leave here forever
No one can make you do what you do
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Lovin's for fools, lovin's for fools
..maybe you'll pull them too. ouch.
